Shame, shame on me!

Shh. I know, I know! I haven’t been here for ages or so.. But I do work hard now – for last few months I’m stuck at home, writing a guidebook. Yes! Finally, I decided to make a huge step, so I’m going to publish my book first book ever (and even if I say it’s the first and the last one, I’m not 100% sure about it). So what am I doing? Of course, I’m writing about my second home – Scotland that for future I hope it would become my first and only home. No! To be honest I like thinking that whole world is my home – even if sometimes it’s driving me crazy. But I do believe everywhere you can find good people. So, there we go – some portion of my shots from Scotland. Enjoy :))

Kraków

This time I will show something different – it will be a short timelapse taken about two weeks ago in Kraków. It was a windy but lovely day – when clouds change quickly on sky, showing and covering sun once by once. Stunning show. Don’t forget to watch it in HD quality!

Israel

It’s been a long time when I posted here something. I know. Mainly, because since I came back to Poland I’ve been home where I have no wi-fi. My phone does have the Internet limit so I had to be careful. Anyway, more than month ago I visited Israel with my friend. It was one of those things when you leave your comfort zone. Why? We hitchhiked and slept in a tent. We were bitten by mosquitoes, had a salt in the eyes (well, diving in the Dead Sea is not the best idea, don’t check it) and almost died from hunger. Our fault, we were silly as hell. But anyway, I remember it as one of the best trips of my life: playing on ukulele, meeting wonderful people and seeing all the beautiful places – everything was worth of tears, blood ans sweat 😉

We visited the bank of The Dead Sea, Masada, Jerusalem, Haifa and Eilat. All of them were especial. The beginning of Asia. Completely different culture. You can forget about many things you know from the western world. I’d love to go back and see more of Eastern and Middle Asia, as the ones are very special to me. My favorite place? Jerusalem and I hope these photos will show you why.

News on TVN

I was very touched while watching this video. I waited all day long to see the results on a screen. I wish I had a television at the time! All I had was just internet connection which pushed me to wait around one hour when finally I could see it. 13.11.2016 on Polish Channel TVN on its News was transmitted a documentary about the project of Fundacja Józef. Worth to see! Inside you can find the photos of fathers and their disabled sons seen through my lens. Click here to watch the documentary. Meet these incredible people who would move the earth for their beloved children.

The Calendar

Fundacja Józef is proud to announce the calendar is almost finished. Currently, the foundators are looking for sponsors who like to be a part of this wonderful project. Also, now you can buy your own calendar for the next year in a very good price – 47PLN (it’s about 10£). As The Foundation pays for printing and delivering the calendars to you, the part of the income will cover these costs and the 100% of the rest of it will help our young heroes. Get one for yourself or your friend and become a hero too!
For further information, please, ask Michał Kosowicz – the father of the project.
I’m very happy I could be a part of the project. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Feel free to order calendar on foundation site http://fundacjajozef.org/produkt/kalendarz-fundacji-jozef-2017/

Maciej & Michał

Michał has a great passion for motorisation. But not for fast cars. in fact it is motorisation focusing on public transport. Michał was a bus driver, a motorman, a steersman (on the Vistula River) and a ferry pilot (from Gdynia to Hel). He is also a specialist in disabled transport logistics around Cracow. He perfectly knows how many seats there are in every Taxi Partner bus and how many wheelchairs can be put there. Michał suffers from cerebral palsy. He cannot speak nor walk alone but his intellectual development is right. It allows him to dream about things relating to the able-bodied children. The boy communicates using boards on which he writes. Soon he will be able to use a special tablet. In spite of his limitations Michał still takes out his dad to see some new models of buses or trams. As every new public transport vehicle has to be tested by him. The bus drivers and motormen from MPK Crakow know it really well.
